First off, welcome to the Chappell Red Angus fall female & genetics sale. We are leading off with one of the top young females in our herd. Chappell Robin L483 hit a home run on her first two calves. We retained her first calf, a Hollywood heifer, as her replacement. She is confirmed bred to ALC Proponent L72 (4803756), one of the highest marbling bulls in the breed, with a bull calf due 1/9/2027.
Lot 2: Chappell Adelle F383
I will put this bluntly, there is no cow in our herd that can put pounds and thickness in her calves like this cow! Chappell Adelle F383 has the highest MPPA in our herd at 111. She is sired by HXC Patent 6608D, who has some of the best carcass traits in the breed. Adelle F383 is a very broody looking female with excellent feet, rib capacity and a great disposition. Chappell Robin J435 may be one of the best phenotypical cows in our herd. She is a little our of our calving window, so we are offering her for sale. She has everything you want in a cow, including being sired by the great 9 Mile Franchise 6305. She is confirmed bred to Chappell Full Capacity N511 (5072163) with bull calf due 3/21/2027. Chappell Showtime M489 was our 2025 high selling bull going to Hillegas Red Angus for $18,000. To date, he may prove to be the best bull produced at Chappell Red Angus. His calves were at the top of the weaning pen this fall. The calves are a consistent medium red color and have plenty of rib and style. To say the least, we are very pleased. Limited semen has been offered so far. In our spring sale, his semen sold for $90 a straw. We donated 10 straws to the SERRA sale and it went for $120 a straw.
