Selling Future Flush!
Lot 1: Chappell Liberty M487
This is a once in a lifetime female and for us it’s once in 36 years of breeding Red Angus cattle. When we breed cattle, we want to cover all the bases so the outcome is the most complete and well-rounded package possible. This includes phenotype first, a good EPD profile, as well as ultrasound and genomic data. We give every animal the chance to succeed or fail equally.
What makes Chappell Liberty M487 so special is she succeeded at the very top in every category like no other. Let’s talk about her performance record. She started with a 68 lb BW (below average), had a 624 lb WW (above average), and a 1035 lb YW (above average). Her ultrasound scan put her at a 4.51 IMF (above average), a 0.25 BF (below average), and a 11.94 REA (above average). To complete all these performance categories at the top of the class is a very hard feet to accomplish!
Her EPD profile may be the best we have ever seen with 16 categories in the top 23% of the breed. She stacks the deck with maternal traits, light birth weight/calving ease traits, high growth traits and some of the best carcass traits you will find. She has good feet and legs, lots of guts, she is the longest heifer in the pen by far and, maybe the best part, is she is a 6-frame heifer. You can breed her to any of the modern Red Angus bulls and get some size and length out of her calves.
If you are interested in this heifer please give us a call, we would love to chat with you about the entire cow family. We are selling a future IVF flush with the bull of your choice. We are guaranteeing 6 embryos. We are not retaining any embryos over 6, they are all yours.
Yearling Bulls
Lot 2: CHAPP-HILL Hedge Fund M02
Chapp-Hill Hedge Fund M02 earned his right to lead off this sale. He was the only bull on test to have over 100 ratios in WW, YW, IMF & REA. He is a true curve bender in the fact he has light birthweight to high growth traits, along with the highest maternal traits possible. He is also a marbling monster; he has the highest IMF scan in the sale at 6.89 and the highest marbling EPD in the sale with a whopping 1.06. Not very often will you find a bull that has a top 5% CED and goes to a 5% YW in the same package.
Lot 3: Chappell MVP M488
Chappell MVP M488 has set a new bar with the largest REA scan ever recorded (17.28 with a 118 ratio) at Chappell Red Angus. On a 1173 lb frame, that’s huge. It equals 1.47 inch of rib eye per 100 pounds of body weight. He is a well-balanced bull with a nice rear quarter and the right frame size for the times. His dam, Chappell Pride J430, is black hided and insures an outcross pedigree. His maternal grand dam still carries a 110 MPPA at 12 years of age. His dam’s embryos sell as Lot 22.

Lot 4: Chappell Showtime M489
We named this bull Showtime for a reason. His bone structure is superior, he is clean fronted, he has thickness throughout his rear quarter, he has tremendous depth of body, his feet are as good as they get in size and shape and he has a quiet disposition. He went from a 72Lb BW to an explosive 1299 YW and he has excellent scan data. He has the highest growth EPDs in the sale with WW, YW, & ADG all in the top 1% of the breed. In addition, his HPG, CW and REA are all in the top 1% of the breed. His dam, Chappell Adelle K455, posted the highest IMF scan (9.27) to date at Chappell Red Angus, and also scanned a 12.82 REA, so the carcass is real. His maternal grand dam, Chappell Adelle F383, has a 109 MPPA and has the lot 10 bull in the sale. Chappell Showtime M489 does have one small flaw, he has a small spec of white between his naval and his front legs, making him a category 2. However, he is still 100% Red Angus. Out of all the visitors we have had this year from Red Angus breeders, he has been the crowd favorite.
Lot 5: Chappell Complete ME3
Chappell Complete ME3, along with the lot 6 bull, were the high gainers on test this year at 3.7 pounds per day. We grow them out to be functional bulls, we do not feed them out like steers. This Complete son has been getting a lot of attention and he should. His carcass data follows in his daddy’s footsteps and coming out of the Robin cow family, it keeps his phenotype flawless. He excels in true beef performance, his carcass traits are all in the top 14% of the breed, his growth is in the top 7% and his maternal traits are all above average.
Lot 6: CHAPP-BW Rocket 2411
Chapp-BW Rocket 2411, along with Lot 5, was the high gaining bull on test at 3.7 pounds per day. This is one of the longest bulls in the sale and sitting at a 6.1 frame he will add plenty of frame and power to your next calves. He is the last Jumpstart in the sale so don’t miss out on everything he has to offer. He posted a 14.54 REA (113 ratio), he is a true curve bender with a -3.1 BW to top 9% growth. His maternal traits are way above average as well. His GM EPD sits at the top 1%, so it’s going to be hard to find another Jumpstart calf that will top this guy’s TOTAL performance.

He is out of Chappell Adelle F383 and how tremendous of a cow she is! Her performance speaks for itself with a 109 MPPA, the highest in our herd. F383’s daughter, Chappell Adelle K455, has the lot 4 bull in this sale on her first try. This cow family just plain works! This is the first animal to sell out of HRP Raisland Quarterbak 2704, our $32,000, third high-selling bull we purchased from HanSine Ranch in SD. 2704 is adding frame to his calves along with excellent type & kind. The feet structure has been excellent on every calf to date. Chappell Prime Time M501 had the highest IMF scan (4.99) of the Chappell bulls, he has a great BW (84 lb) to YW (1273 lb) spread. Growth is in the top 13% of the breed and all his carcass traits are in the top 19% of the breed. M501 is a true herd changer in every sense of the word. Check him out, he will add frame and style to your calves. You will want to retain the heifers to build your herd around.
Lot 11: CHAPP-HW Spartacus 5839

Embryos
Lot 20: Chappell Marie J425 x PIE Hollywood 222
Chappell Marie J425 produced the high selling bull at our 2024 sale on her first try, selling to Brian & Adam Glienke from IA. We purchased J425’s dam, CH Marie 018, at the WV Beef Expo from Cedar Hill Farm and, at the time, was the highest selling RA female ever at the WV Beef Expo. To say the least, CH Marie 018 is the best Messmer Packer S008 female I’ve ever seen with a picture-perfect level udder. CH Marie 018 produced the high-selling bull at the Keystone Elite Sale two times and is one of the most profitable females we have ever had to date. Chappell Marie J425 is following in her dam’s footsteps and is the only female we have out of the CH Marie 018 cow, so these genetics are sought after in the northeast. This mating with PIE Hollywood 222, the record setting $400,000 bull from Pieper Red Angus will be incredible. You can expect a complete phenotypical package when the calves hit the ground. Along with a projected EPD profile that should stand with time: YW, ADG, CW, REA are all in the top 1%, WW & GM in the top 2%, Marb in the top 7%, & ProS in the top 8%. Her 2024 Jumpstart heifer calf sells as Lot 27. Selling 3 embryos and providing an additional 4th embryo as a guarantee if implanted by a certified technician.

Chappell Miss Molly KE6’s yearling carcass data does all the talking with a 7.45 IMF (123 ratio) and a REA of 12.78 on a 1028 pound frame is very impressive. Her dam, Chappell Miss Molly C330, was the high selling female in the 2022 Keystone Elite Fall Female Sale going to Gilchrist Cattle Co in IA and Kemen Red Angus in MN. Lot 24: Chappell Miss Molly M486
Every year people call and ask what is Erica’s favorite heifer and this is it. Chappell Miss Molly M486 is very stylish, she excels in performance at every level and she is a Molly (enough said). Her EPD profile is exceptional with 11 EPDs in top 23% of the breed after that the rest of the EPDs are well above average and very usable to work with on any mating you choose. She has a growth spread from a 60 lb BW to a 908 lb YW. She was above average on her scan data with a 4.58 IMF & 11.59 REA. She is out of a first calf heifer sired by Stockmarket, whom is the last direct daughter out of our original Molly cow, LSF MAB Miss Molly X0705. On the sire side, we found one of the best Quarterback sired bulls in the breed with 9 Mile Allstar 0701. The dam of Allstar is sired by 9 Mile Franchise 6305, people say that’s the magic cross. If you like the Allstar calves in this sale, this is the only place we know of to buy them in 2025 as Allstar resides at Rossi Ranches in Oregon/California and they are a large commercial breeder.
Lot 25: Chappell Miss Molly M495

Talk about risky business, we are down to two Marie’s at Chappell Red Angus, Chappell Marie M490 and her dam, Chappell Marie J425. We are banking to get other daughters from our ET program, so we decided to let this one go. This cow family has generated more profit than any other cow family at Chappell Red Angus. Chappell Molly M490’s dam had the high selling bull last year; it sold for $9000 to Brian & Adam Glienke, IA. She has everything it takes to be a great donor cow. Did I mention she recorded the largest REA scan 13.42 (121 ratio) at Chappell Red Angus? That’s off the charts for a heifer! Her dam’s embryos sell as Lot 20.
Lot 28: CHAPP-TW Zara 5827

We can thank Tim Whitley for bringing us one of his best! The Zara cow family is famous from Alabama to Pennsylvania for being one of the best maternal cow families out there. Some of the highest selling females ever sold at Chappell Red Angus have been Zara’s, with not one complaint. She started off at 64 lb BW and soared to a 913 lb YW. She also has a great IMF (4.90) and top 11% growth EPDs. In my opinion (Dan), she is the most feminine, clean fronted female in the entire sale offering, with a personality you will appreciate. Chapp-MPKE Martini 413 is setting a new bar for heifers in this sale. To put it bluntly, she may be the best heifer in the sale. This heifer has tremendous depth of body, nice hip, smooth fronted and a long clean neck extension. She has a spot of ineligible white in front of her naval, so she is category 2, but still 100% Red Angus. Her dam does not have white so she shouldn’t carry it on. She had the heaviest WW (677) & YW (1012) of all the heifers in the sale. She is a true curve bender type female she has an 18 CED (top 5%), excelling to top 6% growth.
